RegenceRx offers all members with diabetes the opportunity
to receive a new Bayer blood glucose
meter at no cost.
At the same time, Bayer meters
and Bayer Ascensia test strips are on our Preferred
Medication List/Formulary.
Members can choose from two meters: Breeze®2 or the Contour®.
Bayer meters have the following new features to
help members manage diabetes:
- 5 second test time
- No Coding™ technology
- Small blood sample size
It’s easy for your patients receive a Bayer
meter at no cost
A new meter can be shipped directly to the patient’s
home or office. All they need to do is call the toll-free
number for Direct Meter Shipment: 1 (888) 787-0233.
Members can also request a free training video about using
the meter.
If your patients have questions when they start using the
new meter, they can call the Bayer Customer Service Help
Line at 1 (800) 348-8100, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
or visit Bayer's
Web site.
Coverage for other brands
Since the member’s benefit determines whether or not
coverage exists for other brands of blood glucose meters
and test strips, members need to call the phone number on
the back of their member card for specific questions.
